It Really is... Goodbye

Well, first up, it seems like I lost the piece of paper that would have made day 58/59 more complete :/ would be fun to re-type it, but I totally can't remember what was up on it.

Second, considering how inactive I've been on this, it must really look like I'm just bored of updating it, isn't it? Yeah, I am, for some reasons or the other.

Unfortunately, that means no more wall of texts :(. That almost means no more posts.

...

...

...

Not here. But somewhere else.

New and improved.

Hopefully, even easier for me to show stuff.

Hopefully, you can hide wall of texts so that you don't need to get flooded by it everytime you open the page.

Where's all this going to happen...?

Some will know. Some won't :).

But... I'll "Press" on, with all my "Words". ;)

Much more content to come, as I've found something worth typing, and it reveals me as a gamer, alot.

Because of that, I'll see you on the "other side".

This means, it is really goodbye...

031010 - The Double Faced King - Digging the Sorrow Within

Certain pasts are always left undug, left covered up. unfortunately, these are also the ones often uncovered every so often, and through certain events, it seemingly always is.

No matter how long it has been since the bad memories have ended, there is always this permanent scar inside the minds of everyone affected. For some, they prefer to keep it deep down inside, never to see light again. Yet, the many things that happen everyday forces light to shine through into the deep depths of the abyss, right on these memories.

When they resurface, you feel as if it is not something that you would ever hope to remember again. Yet, as people start mentioning about them, the trigger instantly activates, the only thing that can be done is to sit, and listen.

Why must people have such sorrowful memories? Are they all but unnecessary? It seems everyone has at least one such thing through their lives, which they hate so badly, but cannot forget.

No matter how nonchalant I look as these memories are dug up, my heart trembles whenever someone activates it...

Unfortunately, it's pretty much always the same person.

260910 - The Double Faced King - A Dilemma Ensnared Within

With time, certain things change. However, my stand towards something within the family hasn't changed for a long time.

Yet, a chat today revealed many hidden reasons that I had never thought of, that was something that became a large thing to think about.

Upon thinking back, I feel as if I've been rather selfish on my part, sticking to my decision for so long. Then again, I have my own reasons for sticking to them... With the chains I've been gripping so hard on to starting to fall slowly as I loosen my grip, I worry of various things that may happen if I do let go.

A dilemma I've been trapped into, that a decision is required in the earliest time possible, yet having possibly drastic changes once it is made.

What would you do?

100910 Interlude - Who is: The Double Faced King?

Amidst the warring armies, amidst the flaming orange glowing in the background, someone arises, looking over all the chaos happening below, from atop a mountain peak.

A stern look on his face turns to a smile, as he slowly makes his way down, step by step, his trusty silver sword on his equipment belt, swinging around as if it were a feather in the air, but the clanging of metal against metal armor can be heard in the distance. The chaos below continues, but neither side seem to be winning. Neither side notices the figure. Casualties are heavy, but many still fight on.

The night sky fills with clouds covering the area, and smoke billowing through the darkness. Snow begins to fall, ever so slowly, down onto the battlegrounds... and on the polished, shiny armor on the figure as he walks down, ever so slowly, ever so silently.

The clang of swords can be heard miles away, but it slowly stops, as if a sudden truce has occurred. Everyone stops and stares at the figure approaching them from the foot of the battleground. The snow gets heavy, only a blurry, dark figure can be seen, but the sounds of armor pieces knocking onto each other sound so familiar. The armies start moving towards the figure, speeding up... Rage fills both sides, as they charge towards it, filled with hatred.

The figure can be seen unsheathing his sword amidst the snow and darkness, as he prepares his battle stance...

Dawn breaks in, the sky begins to clear. Snow slowly stops falling, and the last fighting party collapses onto the ground. The once white snow fills with red for miles, but the sound of metal armor striking each other can still be heard. Someone's still alive...

The sound of a sword returning into its sheath can be heard, and footprints can be seen, leading into the background. Only a pair of footprints can be seen, yet a very long blood trail stretches across the distance, ending in a large pool of soldiers, collapsed, motionless, completely cold...

As the figure walks away, he turns back to look at the remnants of the battleground. A familiar face can be seen, but tears are flowing from his eyes... He wipes it off, a stern look returning to his face as he turns around and proceeds on.

The last snowflake falls... the figure disappears into the background...

The battleground falls into a deafening silence.

040910 - The Double Faced King: The Deepest, Darkest Depths

The toughest decisions always come unexpected, and when you're forced to make a choice, you get really confused. Sometimes in such a hurry, the wrongest decisions get made.

Fortunately though, there is always the parts of salvation, and after you think of it for some time, you realize how lucky it was that said opportunity entered at the best moments. You realize how wrong your choice was, and how this may have just saved ya.

With the aversion of what I'd consider a disaster, I'm beginning to discover who I really am, and where I may actually be headed for. Yet, if these very tough decisions come in another instant again, will it be the same scenario, or will I be able to consciously avoid these before it even happens?

Amidst the darkest depths of the king's heart, an illumination fills the void within. Salvation nears as the king stretches his hand out to reach for the light...

But, will he have the strength to pull himself up into the light, or plunge into darkness yet again...?

290810 - The Double Faced King: Sword Standing on Edge, A Decision to Make

It's a pretty tough choice, but I don't know why it was tough. It was chosen, rejected, thought about, chosen again... was on a heavy dilemma right down to the final minutes actually. Why is it so?

In the end though, choices still have to be made, it was just waiting to happen.

How much it will impact me in the future, I don't know... but, I know one thing for sure.

It has happened.

Monthly Updates... Epic Proportions!

Who knew I'd be so busy with army life at this point of time that it takes me almost a month before I can do another update?

Yet, once the update comes... it'll be SO big it's just going to be a nice blockade of text! xD

Well, here goes...

With a random post, it's nice to see how cool the weather has been these few days.

That's all.

But don't expect this to be it, a backlog of text is coming when I have the time to upload them <_<.

Period of Inactivity

For 2 whole weeks... I've not posted on the blog.

It seemed as though I've abandoned it, although I haven't.

It's just that, well, too many things have happened in these 2 weeks that have just caused me to be drawn to other things, aside from blogging.

Read ahead to find more, but as an advanced warning: It's wordy, as always. I don't like posting pictures o_o This could get troublesome!

Flames of Darkness - Chapter II - V

No breeze, little light, no food… everything was lacking in that abyss, but Wolf ran on. The blue flame was really close to him now, and he could almost see it dancing wildly in the darkness.

Wolf was really lethargic, but he pressed on and it paid off. As he got closer, he realized that 2 flames were there – a new one, and the other was likely to be the one he missed his chance on.

He still had the problem though – how was he to capture it? Going bare handed was pure stupidity, but he couldn’t think for too long. The flames were ready for attack.

In a split second, both the flames went on the offensive, with Wolf attempting to dodge the two fireballs headed for him. There was no way to capture them yet, and Wolf was close to losing all his stamina.

It was too late, though. Wolf was too distracted to notice the two fireballs, headed straight ahead for him. Both fireballs split to two and once more, both flames managed to scrape past him – one on the exact spot he was burned previously, the other on his other arm. The pain was just unbearable, and Wolf screamed in agony. He slammed to the ground, hard. Scratches were on him everywhere by now, but he could not do anything… at all.

He glanced at the 2 fireballs. Strangely enough, the just sat there, and didn’t jump off as per his previous experience. Wolf knew that it didn’t bode well, though. Something was waiting to happen, he knew it.

Wolf began inspecting his injury. The flames were very docile, strangely. Only some sparks came out every now and then, but that was all. Wolf saw his first wound, but it looked like nothing happened, other than the fact that the black area around it became larger. The other wound – his new burn – had the exact same mark as the first injury.

Wolf looked closely at both injuries. Something wasn’t right. The marks were transiting to a deep red color, as if the flames came alive. Just then, the most unexpected thing happened.

With a sudden crackle of the flames, the mark became hot red. One could see the red glow from far in the darkness. Wolf could also feel a burning sensation setting in, and it was getting very intense. In a split second, the burn became as bad as when the fireballs touched Wolf. He could literally see the flame mark on his hand moving, and it was moving out of the black area. That was not good news…

The flame mark touched the edge of the black area. Then, it advanced further, moving straight across his arm and onto his body. He could feel the burn so bad, he tumbled to the ground and kept rolling around in pain. It was agonizing. The mark proceeded across and connected with the other burn mark, forming a black burn line on his skin, as if it was “joining the dots.”

Wolf was gasping in pain by now, and it was the worst feeling he ever felt. The pain slowly subsided, with both marks now gone. All that was left was a deep, black burn line across his body.

Wolf could barely open his eyes, but he could see the flames growing larger, but in an eccentric pattern. It rose and joined together, as if forming a pair of legs. The “legs” then walked slowly into the darkness, leaving Wolf weak on the ground. Wolf was unsure how things boiled down to this, and he was beginning to feel the hopelessness that his “clone” mentioned before.

One more, the orange flames reduced in amounts. They were now a very large distance apart, though the path could barely be made out.

Wolf just decided to lay there and not move for some time. If this continued, he would definitely die. It was all just a matter of time… After all, things were hopeless now, right?

Early Morning Rise & Shine

I hardly wake up at 8am. If I do, it's because I'm going to play some games. But that's not what I'm gonna have to do for today. There's just too many things lined up for me that I can't sleep further than how much I've slept...

I really hope when I book out the next time on coming Friday that I am really given at least 40 hours to communicate with my family, rest, and relax. There just wasn't enough time to get much done this weekend... getting swamped with other work and all. Sigh.

Well, last post for me in this blog for now until I return! My cough still isn't recovered, but trying my best to keep it controlled. I don't want to catch a ride to see the medical officer again >.>

Time to go! Hopefully this week won't be too tough for me to handle!

I Spam the Blog!

Wow, loads of things added for the day! Updated a log, which is very, very far from finishing, and a new chapter of the ongoing story.

At the same time, I'm very grateful and happy to be back on local land, as it's brought me quite some experience that I don't think I can easily forget. More importantly, I'm ready to face up for some challenges ahead. With all the emotions welled inside me, 2 songs come to mind that fit this situation.

Song: Let It Out
Artist: Miho Fukuhara
Anime: Full Metal Alchemist

Along with that, all challenges ahead and in my way will be taken with one attitude:

Song: Golden Time Lover
Artist: Sukima Switch
Anime: Full Metal Alchemist

Sunday has fallen. It's almost time to book in again... sigh. Too short a time accompanying my family really. This is going to continue for some time....

FoD - Writer's Notes VI

With my army life in the way, it gets difficult for me to add in a new chapter part for Flames of Darkness, but I'll do my best.

It was fun to get Chapter II - IV done though, because I had no headway to what could happen to Wolf in the upcoming chapters. More thinking for me to do! However, I do have some plans of sorts on what could happen... just have to wait and see ;)

The story till now all represents something interesting. Although it's a little slow, you'll notice that there will be an uncanny resemblance to how my life has been mixed into Wolf's adventure.

Many questions remain for me to get done with, but it's not going to be easy to answer all of them.

Hopefully, every week, I get to do up at least a chapter of this! It's been fun to write this, and I don't wish to give it up anytime sooner.

Flames of Darkness - Chapter II - IV

The abyss looked endless as Wolf proceeded onwards. With flames which were originally leading his path vanishing to thin air behind him, he couldn't wait to find the first blue flame, not knowing what was about to come up.

And there it was, the first blue flame since he started walking hours back. It looked like the flame was just waiting there to be collected, but Wolf knew it was not the case.

As Wolf approached the flame, he could feel the heat intensifying, emitting from the blue flame. What was strange though, was that he couldn't feel such heat coming from the orange ones, no matter how close they were to him.

With a sudden movement, the blue flame flew towards Wolf like a magnet, coming alive. Wolf was caught stunned in action. He dodged it right on time, but a portion of the flame split and scraped right past his arm. His arm was singed in the process, and it hurt so badly he couldn't land himself properly, trying to use the other arm to support the singed area and control the pain.

Wolf crashed to the ground. As the pain slowly faded away, he checked his wound, and realized that only a strange mark was left from the remnants of the flame. It looked like a fire emblem, blazing wildly. Surrounding it was a black area, but when Wolf touched it, he couldn't feel any pain from it. Other than the mark, it seemed like nothing was actually wrong.

He turned to look at the blue flame, which could be seen flying off further into the distance. One chance of catching the flame gone, but he believed more tries would come. He still didn't know how to catch them, though, considering how hot the blue flame was that a single touch was all it took to leave anyone who contacted it a severe burn.

As he looked ahead, he noticed that the pattern of orange flames leading the way were changing. Some flickered and in a short while, faded away. Far into the distance, he could see the same thing occurring.

Although he was not too cautious of such an event happening, he knew that things would not be as simple as it seemed. While the orange flames were still sufficient to lead the way, Wolf just felt an ominous feeling of what would happen next.

He could, however, see a small blue dot flickering amidst the complete darkness, less the orange flames, and it definitely wasn't too far from where he was at.

Not wanting to waste another moment, he sprinted his way towards the direction of the flame. As always, the orange flames leading the way faded off as he passed by them...

Back With a Tan!

And I'm back from 2 weeks of madness! 15 weeks to go, but I believe I'll persevere through it all.

My originally (very) fair skin is now chocolate brown o_o. I look... strange. Sort of, with two different color tones on my body. My tanned areas look awesome, though! :P

These 2 weeks had all the ups and downs in life I ever thought would happen. Because of that, I also made myself do some extreme things, but I manage to go through it all.

Through times of suffering, and times of happiness, I'm back from the army... for now.

What will come next? Time will tell all.

But first, major spam to the blog! ^_^

Gone... For Now.

Just a song I thought would be apt. Japanese, as always. I can never give up Japanese songs ;).

Title: Sayonara Solitaire
Artist: Saeko Chiba
Anime: Chrno Crusade

I'll be back in 2 weeks... definitely.

Abyss Flame

In a few hours, possibly some radical changes to my life could occur. Who knows?

I figured I should change my blog name too. It's now Abyss Flame - アビス炎. Something that I felt... fit, really.

Anyone who had the time to read all of Flames of Darkness would realize that the abyss is something that seems to hint at something... else.

In the midst of the abyss, will I be able to find the flame to illuminate the way?

Time will tell all.

Walking Down the Path of No Return

Ah. Sounds so ominous, yet it could be true in a sense.

A'Level results out today, and it definitely wasn't what I expected. While I thought I would have failed in a certain subject, I surprisingly passed it, with a decent grade, too.

However, this presented a problem to me. I actually didn't plan for this to happen. Which meant I didn't plan for what I should choose for my next course of life in University. Which is bad, since I forgot about "alternative planning."

Fortunately I have a few weeks to ponder carefully and decide on the best course of action. But that's inside my army, which is... less than a day away.

I don't know, sometimes I wished I planned further. Sometimes, I feel like there wasn't such needs to plan because I wasn't sure if I would be around at that point of time.

Tomorrow is where a new "life" of mine begins. It'll be interesting, torturous, worrying, scary, and all sorts of things mixed into one, but I look forward to it.

2 weeks of inactivity on my blog isn't going to stop me from "posting" ;). Wait till a flood of things appear when I return!

FoD - Writer's Notes V

Well, I did initially think of having just one part to Chapter II, before heading into my NS and writing up the rest of it when I come out every week, but it seems as though my creative juices just kept flowing and I couldn't place it all in one go! :P

However, this second chapter does mean a lot to me. I believe it will, at the least. Especially with Chapter II - III where Wolf's copy said "start of suffering... and despair," as it is something that I have a feeling could happen to me personally.

Now that I've started Chapter II, I'm pretty pumped to get on with it! But I'll keep my creative juices until the time I return...

So many posts to make in a day. I wonder if anyone actually reads all these? :P

Flames of Darkness - Chapter II - III

"Get up!" Wolf could feel a kick right onto his abdomen.

"Ugh! Dammit! What do you think you're doing?" Wolf was fully awake by now, and he was definitely not in a good mood.

As Wolf stood up, his surroundings were black. Almost nothing could be seen, except for the figure in front of him, who was carrying a torch.

"Where am I? What do you want this time?" Wolf was ready to punch the figure at anytime.

"Oh, want to punch me? Go ahead. I won't retaliate! No worries though, nothing's going to happen..." The figure just stood there, as if waiting to receive the blow.

"Oh hell I will punch you. And I will do that RIGHT NOW!" Wolf delivered as forceful a blow as he could onto the figure.

Right before the impact reached Wolf's copy, it smiled. When the punch landed on it, the figure burst into flames and it could be seen that all of them were sent flying off into the distance as it faded into the darkness.

"Ah..hahahaha! You shouldn't have punched me. Now this is where the fun starts! I'd advise that you collect any blue flames you see along the way, if you can!" The voice faded into the air. All around Wolf, the surrounding was brightened up by bright orange flames. It was definitely clearer to see where he could go now, as the flames seemed to form a path for him. However, the area was still pitch black, and he was unclear as to where he was.

"If you are wondering, this is... an abyss. Created purely for you actually. There is no way to get out, not unless you manage to find me. But hey, more importantly, you should think of how you're going to collect the blue flames. I'm not going to help you on that. Do prepare though, for this could very well be the start of your suffering... and despair." Once again, the voice faded away.

"Guess I should start work then." Wolf proceeded towards the path that the orange flames had created, he knew that this was just the beginning of something that would be very, very, long drawn. Wolf's figure faded into the darkness as he walked further and further away from where he started...

Flames of Darkness - Chapter II - II

"Darn... not again!" Wolf spoke as he stood up, sweeping the dirt off his legs.

"Again? You must have survived the first ordeal then. Or was there more than that?" It spoke.

"Just one... but I already had enough. It was dumb to have had to battle my--" Wolf was done cleaning up, and he looked right up into the figure. He paused at the instant he saw face-to-face, the person he was speaking to.

"My-- self." The person ended the sentence for Wolf.

"This is not necessary, but why are you... me? And, why do you look so strange?" Wolf pointed at the strange markings all over the figure.

"You should already know the answer." The figure spoke in a very firm voice. Sure enough, it was one of the other souls of Wolf that was ripped off from him. Wolf wasn't taken aback this time, especially with all the information he had from the previous one he fought.

However, the figure had black marks all over his body, like a tattoo. Wolf definitely didn't have that, so it definitely wasn't copied straight from him.

"Oh, these?" It pointed at the mark.

"Yeah. What's up with covering you with these marks anyway?" Wolf frowned at the sight of seeing "himself" get "drawn" to this extent.

"It's for... this." The figure ended his sentence. The marks on it's body started moving into the ground, and it was moving towards Wolf.

"'Tis some kind of joke?" Wolf didn't know what was going to happen. The black markings moved towards him with such speed that it caught him by surprise. In an instant, the black markings surrounded him. Wolf tried to move away, but his body seemed like it was rooted to the ground.

The black markings started to move up Wolf's body, as if taking over him. Wolf panicked, but there was nothing he could do. He could only stare in shock as the markings slowly covered his face. It started to spread out, like ink on water. His whole body could be seen slowly covered in black. Slowly... slowly...

Wolf raised his hand, as if wanting to grab his copy, but it was all too late. His arms were fully covered by the mark, and he was like a figure in the shadows -- completely black.

As the marks slowly covered his whole face, he could see that the figure smiled, and it was moving towards him. Wolf could feel that he was losing consciousness, and he knelt to the ground. His body then slammed right down, but he could not feel any pain. His eyes shut, not knowing what was going to happen.

Wolf's copy walked towards him, and he was sure that Wolf was completely knocked out. He muttered something, and in an instant, he broke down into a pool of black ink, and merged with the black marks which were still on Wolf.

"Time to begin this" were the last words that could be heard as the black marks started seeping into Wolf's body. After a short while, completely no black marks could be seen on him, and all that was left was his body which was bathing in the sunset light...

Flames of Darkness - Chapter II - I

Wolf sat up, dazed a little from the experience he had. He was feeling better from the rest, that's for sure, but he still couldn't understand too much of what the figure really meant.

Being able to live again was good, that's for sure, but why go to the trouble of doing so many little tricks, and worse, on him? He just couldn't understand that.

The surroundings was still dark and cold, much like when he started the battle. The area was barren, thanks to the battle. Wolf took a look up to the night sky, and once again, he saw the lake's surface. Strangely enough, it looked as if it was the exact same spot he drowned, although he was very sure he moved a rather long distance away from it.

He couldn't be too bothered by it though, it was, after all, one of the many strange things that hit him over the past few weeks. As Wolf began inspecting his wounds, he noticed that things looked really strange. Too strange to be true.

No wounds could be seen inflicted on his body. Wolf could recall the slashes that occurred during the battle, but the wounds were not there either. He was not feeling any pain at all, as if no bones in his body broke. How did that happen?

What was obvious, though, was that he was drenched. A storm that occurred while he was unconscious must have been pretty long for this to occur, he thought to himself.

Wolf stood on his two feet, glancing around the surroundings, trying to figure where to go next. The barren area stretched so far that he lost track of all sense of direction, unable to tell where he came from before that.

He could however, feel that he was being pulled towards a strange force. He moved towards it, knowing that something lay ahead of him, which he definitely had to discover himself.

As he proceeded forward, he had an uncanny feeling something bad was going to happen again. After all, he already experienced a rather rough ride for a start, what could be worse?

Wolf went smack right into a strange wall. It wasn't rock solid, though. It felt as if he hit into a bubble surface. He realized that walking right through it wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. He tried to recall how he even got into the bubble in the first place, and one idea struck his mind.

After taking several steps back, Wolf began to dash straight forward towards the surface. He was sure this was going to work, just like how it did when he went chasing the figure, only that he never noticed at that time. As his speed continued to increase, he hoped that it was going to be a relatively smooth exit...

Unfortunately, it was not quite what he expected. Instead of being able to exit it like passing through air, he smashed into in once again. That was definitely more painful than the first...

He tried one more time. This time, he made sure that his claws were ready to slice through the bubble, should it be necessary. Why was it so hard to get out of it this time, anyway? He thought no further about it, and began dashing towards the "wall" again.

With his razor sharp claws on the ready, he pounced at the wall as a last attempt. He slashed at the bubble this time, and sure enough, a small hole was made. He squeezed himself through the hole, and it was obvious that he was struggling to get his whole body out of it.

He did manage to get out, but not before doing a barrel roll on the ground, and ending with smashing into the legs of someone... again.

A Day... or Two

Two days to the start of my military service.

One day to the nationwide release of the A'level results.

Should one be tensed, worried, or looking forward to any of the events? Is it all just going to blow off in a matter of seconds, or will it last... for a lifetime?

Things are not necessarily how they look. Not when there are certain... things, that block your way in your quest-- quest of life.

When such things arise, what should you do? Should you escape in fear, or should you stand strong and face it?

Is everything that easy to face, when you have certain inherent worries that you were never able to speak out of? What if they were spoken of, but were always dismissed as being a ramble, or that they were "unnecessary"?

In 48 hours, or actually much less than that, things may change very, very radically... to a point I may not be able to accept it. Time will tell all. We'll have to see just what happens.

Will I fall into the abyss, or will I stand solid on ground, ready to face what is right in front of me... for 2 years?

Blog Update!

Yup! Anyone who visits my blog now won't be greeted with dull black. It's been fully customized to my liking of various colors! Hurrah!

Hopefully, it makes things easier to see with these new colors. I may update them further in future if I see the need to ;)

FoD - Writer's Notes IV

Yeah, with a nice spurt of energy, I wrote the other few chapter-parts in 2 hours or so.

It's nice to see this chapter end though, I've sort of struggled with how I should start, and end this chapter of mine.

Now we know that this "he" we're referring to, is Wolf. But why does he hate the name so much? You'll just have to wait and see.

I always wanted to make Wolf have a relatively opposite personality of mine. I wonder if anyone actually noticed what sort of character he has by now?

As the story expands, so will the number of questions increase. Answers may be given, depending on whether or not I know what questions I actually created :P.

Well, apart from that, Chapter 2 is actually on it's way! Very, very soon... and I mean very.

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - VIII

Dark clouds gathered around the castle. It seemed like it was going to be yet another stormy night.

A mysterious figure was looking at several hourglasses that he had. The sand within just seemed to continue to flow endlessly, as if there was no end to the supply of sand. Neither did the pile of sand at the bottom of the hourglass increase.

Just then, the sand in one of the hourglasses started to run out. It was as if this was the only normal hourglass that he had.

When the sand ran out, nothing initially happened. However, after a short pause, it burst into pieces, scattering sand all over the area. Pieces of glass lay around where the mysterious figure stood.

"Master?" A lady's voice spoke.

"Oh, yes please. Thank you!" The figure smiled at the lady. She cleaned up the glass and the scattered sand. The figure was still staring intently at the other hourglasses, as if waiting for things to happen.

Once the lady was done, she walked slowly out the door and shut it behind her. The figure then walked over to his couch and sat down.

"So... that's one done. Doubt it was easy, but that's how it's meant to be, hm?" The figure spoke with a straight face. He seemed to know many things that a particular someone would like to know...

"Well, I wonder how he's going to fare for the others? Hopefully the next one won't give him that much trouble..."

Roaring thunder could be heard. Not long after, raindrops fell.

"It's going to be a stormy night..." The figure murmured as he stood up from his couch and went to his bedroom...

-Chapter 1 END-

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - VII

It seemed like everything was too late. Nothing could be rectified from the battle.

Wolf's battered body was just left there, and the figure stood beside him.

"Tch. You're really.... useless, ya'know? I can't believe I could have defeated you! That's just stupid! But hey, it ends in my victory in the end! Ahahaha! Enjoy slowly decaying into the earth, Wolf." The figure turned around, and slowly walked away from his body.

Wolf's claws twitched. The figure never knew about it, though. Besides, struggling to be alive wouldn't help much in doing anything, would it?

Wolf was sprawled on the ground. He was badly beaten, anyone could see that. Panting and bleeding, he struggled to keep himself awake.

"Th--.... ye---...." Wolf said in a very soft tone.

The figure turned around, and saw that he was still alive. He walked towards Wolf.

"What did you just say? It's too soft, I couldn't hear you, weakling!"

"Thi-- thi--... is---" Wolf could only say it in bits and pieces.

"What?" The figure bent down, trying to hear what he said.

"THIS ISN'T OVER YET!" With a quick shout, Wolf took the earth that was on his claws and threw it right onto the figure's face.

The figure got a short stun, still recovering from the shock. Wolf took the opportunity to get all his energy ready to slash the figure. The figure was also attempting to be one with the wind again.

"Not... this... time!" Using all his energy, he pounced onto the figure and clawed right through his torso. The figure gave a sharp cry and fell to the ground.

Following that, Wolf continued to slash all over the figure, taking revenge from what happened earlier. But he didn't have that much energy. He collapsed right beside the figure, completely drained of all his stamina.

"Not.. bad...." The figure muttered.

"Time for you to tell me everything you know." Wolf panted.

"Not much, really... Your soul was... literally... ripped to shreds when you drowned... I don't know... why..." The figure was bleeding badly, and could hardly continue.

"I do know... however... that we were created... from these souls of yours... Our purpose is... unknown... but we were told... to fight you..."

"By who?" Wolf questioned.

"Never... saw... face..."

"You... are now existing... in the alternate.... reality... You... need... to find a way... back... soon........."

"The other figures... are waiting... More danger... lies ahead....... Do be careful... Wolf." The figure couldn't continue further. His injuries were very severe. After all, he was, just a soul of Wolf's.

"You... need to get... your souls back... regardless... of how painful... it could get... how dangerous... it is... how torturous... it could be..."

"Time for me... to return to my... owner..."

"Thanks... for... the... battle..."

With that, the figure Wolf was fighting slowly disintegrated into small light particles. It was too bright, for Wolf, who was badly beaten, at least. The last thing he could feel was that the particles were slowly entering him.

He couldn't sustain his consciousness any longer.

"More rest, huh...." and Wolf's eyes shut. He knew that things would turn out to be really interesting from here on out...

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - VI

The battle began. Neither side actually made a move for a very long while, as if waiting for the opposite party to move first.

Wolf took the opportunity and made a quick pounce towards the figure, ready to do a slash on him. The figure just seemed to stand rooted there, as if waiting for the attack to come.

Wolf's claw came slashing right down on the figure, but... something was not right. As he landed on the ground, he turned around to see the figure.

The figure slowly faded away, as if it never existed. It turned and faced Wolf.

"Good try, but, you should try harder!" A quick laugh, and the figure disappeared into thin air. It was as if his attack never struck the figure at all, as if... it was "not there."

A sudden strike from his back stunned him. It was a powerful hit, and the impact sent him flying a distance away. Wolf didn't know where that came from, but he could sense that the figure he was speaking to was still around.

"Well, you already got a taste of my attack even before this. You should have been prepared this would happen!"

Wolf then understood what was going on. Manipulation of surroundings, no, more specifically, air. He couldn't understand though, how the figure managed to stab his body without leaving a trace.

"Just a small present from someone else." The figure responded, as if knowing what Wolf was thinking.

"You ain't going to find me just by standing there, you know? Come on, think of a way to hit me! I'm already bored..." The wind carried the figure's voice. Wolf was really angered by now, but he still couldn't score a hit on him.

"How about I propose a change of rules? I hit you even once, you tell me everything you know." Wolf spoke to the air, not knowing where the figure was by then.

"What? That's way too much of a bargain for you! But, hah! I guess that's fine with me. Not that you'll strike me at all anyway!" Ending off that sentence, a quick punch on Wolf's face could be felt.

There was not going to be any simple way of finding that figure. Not with it seemingly all over the place.

"Focus........" A small gust of wind went over his ears.

More strikes came landing on Wolf while he was still confused as to what to do. By now, the figure was mildly angered by his actions.

"I should up the ante, isn't it? You just standing there like a straw doll makes this no fun."

A sudden slice across Wolf's arm stunned him. It started to bleed, and this definitely was for real. The figure was not kidding this time, and Wolf needed to find a way out of this situation as quick as he could.

"Distracted again!"

A few more slices went slashing onto Wolf. It was not going to be the best ending to this battle. Not when Wolf was getting beaten around like a rag doll.

The strikes were getting more and more vicious as time went on. Wolf just couldn't keep up with escaping the attacks whenever he could. He could feel like the air became razor-sharp knives that were ready to slash him at anytime. He was ready to give up. Ready to just let the battle end with him losing. Ready to let it everything fade to nothing...

"So you want that, huh? FINE!"

Wolf suddenly got picked up into the air. He lost control of his whole body, unable to move a single muscle. The air was restraining his movements. Just then, he felt that the air became thinner... and thinner... and thinner...

He gasped for air, struggling to get out of the situation. There was nothing he could do, was there? Midway in air, not being able to move, doing nothing... He knew it was going to end in his brutal loss.

He was close to losing consciousness. A powerful slam on the ground followed, his body battered and bleeding.

"Take it as your final warning. The next strike, I will crush you bit by bit!"

Struggling to keep himself conscious now, he couldn't do much, other than grab the earth in front of him as a final struggle.

"It's all over..." Wolf made a soft murmur to himself.

"FOCUS! THINK!" A voice inside his head shouted. He didn't know who it was, but it definitely gave him a little more consciousness with such a loud voice.

"Alright. Time's up. Let's just send you to hell, shall we?" The figure picked him up once more, and again, he was floating in air. This time however, the air was getting heavier and heavier above him.

He could feel the air crushing his bones slowly... slowly... A loud crack could be heard.

"AAAAARRRRR-GGGGHHHHH!!!!" Wolf screamed in agony. His ribcage was slowly getting crushed under the air's weight. He had to do something, anything at all. His eyes began to close... ever so slowly...

"Good...bye..." Wolf whispered as the figure dropped him back to ground.

"So that's it? I expected more from you, Wolf." The figure reappeared from the surroundings, stepping his body and kicking it around.

What followed next, was dead silence...

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - V

"My, oh my... Look who this is?" The figure spoke in a very familiar voice.

"Right. So what do you want, trying to be a copy of me? I appreciate having a fanbase but this isn't necessary." He responded, expecting that the figure knew something he didn't.

"Look, I'm not a COPY of you, alright? I'm just..."

"Just? Just? Hurry up and say it!"

"YOU."

He took a few steps back, not fully understanding what the figure just said.

"Huh, shocked are we? There's no need to be! You were, after all, dead, weren't you?"

He recalled the drowning...

"There was some... things, I'd say, that was done. But hey, you're alive! Isn't that the best thing already?"

"Shut up, now. I don't need more confusing things as it is now."

The figure, or more accurately, a carbon copy of himself, just stood there staring at him. He couldn't grasp it still, but he didn't want to let that figure just go away, not when he had so many questions in his mind.

"Still pondering over the many things? Let me help you." With a swift movement, the figure struck right into him, razor sharp claws piercing through anything in its path.

"Heh." The figure just gave a smirk, then retracted his claws.

The pain was obvious. It felt... too real. Was he going to just die off without a proper answer? He looked down, ready to see his life end before him.

Strangely enough, no injuries were on him. Not even a scratch. Neither was there a mark that he had been stabbed by that figure, ever before.

"Wolf, wolf, wolf... You should learn your lesson. Take that as a warning, and LISTEN to me if you want to find out more."

"SHUT UP! I don't need that name anymore. Stop calling me that!"

"Oh, being agitated now? It is, your name, or should I say, our name, after all!" The figure laughed.

It was strange that the figure even knew his name. Wolf just waited for the figure to say more.

"Well, how about this. Every strike that I fail to block, I'll tell you a portion of the information that I believe you'd like to know?" The figure broke the silence.

A duel sounded good, but Wolf was not at his prime form. He could feel something missing within him, he couldn't point out what. Still, he gave a nod to the figure, in all hopes that at least something could be gained from the battle.

"Good, good! It's nice to see you still ready to battle even when you are not in your best form! This isn't the best place to battle though, so how about..." With a punch to the ground by the figure, the earth rattled, as if a sudden earthquake just struck the area.

Cracks on the ground formed. Trees originally around the area started falling into the cracks. Wolf looked around, seeing that the area was becoming a flat piece of land in no time.

"Done! Now we're ready!"

It was going to be an intense battle, he could feel. Things were not going to be the same once this battle started...

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - IV

"So much for rest..." He stood up, obviously still shaken by what had happened. It was a considerable long rest for him, much like hibernation, actually, but he knew that it wasn't the best time to be hibernating. Not when so many things happened. At the very least, he could feel that his stamina and strength returned by a decent lot, but something seemed to be missing from within him.

With the blazing sun shining right on him, he moved slowly toward a tree for some shade.

Looking around the area, he noticed that no one was there already. Not a single trace of them was left. Where should he start? Where did all those figures go? He couldn't decide instantaneously.

As if the wind brought a voice along, he heard "Follow where your heart desires...", and it faded away very quickly. It alerted his senses, but no one was around.

Who was the voice? Only time could tell...

"I don't have time on my hands to laze around now!" With a quick footing, he sprinted on his fours towards a direction. Somewhere that he felt he would find something, somewhere he felt his heart was guiding him to. He didn't know where he was headed towards, but he continued dashing his way through the thick bushes.

Greenery around the area helped to cool him down from all the dashing, but the fur on him was the ultimate shade. It was still cool, as if the surrounding wasn't blazing hot at all.

While he attempted to look up, the blinding sunlight stopped him from doing so. He couldn't see much of anything, and could only squint his eyes. That never helped much.

He walked slowly. Slowly towards an open area where he had never seen before. He was being pulled towards it, and it piqued his curiosity. Maneuvering past the overgrowth surrounding him, he saw a shadowy figure in the distance.

He made a quick sprint in an attempt to reach the figure. Closer, closer... He could feel that he was reaching the figure.

Yet, no matter how long he took, it seemed like the figure just wasn't getting any closer to him. One step was all it took after that, to give him an utter surprise.

As if time sped up by hours, the blazing sun disappeared into thin air, only to be replaced by the cold, windy night. He looked up and noticed the very sudden change, but couldn't understand what was happening. Unfortunately for him, he didn't notice that the figure was right in front of him in a split second, and he crashed onto the figure.

The figure stepped back a little bit, but it seemed like the crash didn't cause any significant impact on him. As he recovered from the crash, he looked up at the figure, and knew in an instant, the confrontation with the figure was not going to be a smooth one...

Last 7 hours

And so, the final 7 hours of my work begin.

Will there be any surprises in store? I really look forward to the end of the day now ;). Been a tiring journey to go on, working on and on towards a computer, answering calls.

But it's all worth it -- for the experience.

Oh well, short post, time to work.

/gone!

FoD - Writer's Notes III

Wow, 'his' rest sure is taking some time ;) Going real time resting along with me placing my attention to work has drawn me away from adding a new chapter part on to the ongoing story.

But just a quick update, some changes will be made to the starting 3 chapter-parts of the story.

I just... found it weird after finishing it up, being unhappy at some parts of the plot.

I have my own foresight of how this should progress, but occasionally, I'd have to make some changes I find necessary. And this is one of them.

Chapters I-II and I-III have been edited a little to make it sound less stupid, and more dark ~_~.

Chapter I-IV should be coming real soon, since I intend to finish up Chapter I before I go for my enlistment...

Hello...? Hello? Hello? Part III

The last one, I believe! Let's continue on with my experiences...

I pick up many calls every day, and as time goes by, people recognize my voice, I recognize theirs. And that's where a small friendship bond starts...

Just like Scenario 1, I was asked to pass the call to another person every time (just different one, now). But since he was away for a while, anyone who picks up this consumer's call would just have to help out.

How interesting, that the same person would reach my hotline every single time! ;) I was really fortunate to have spoken with her so many times.

What was unforgettable, was that she almost always mistook my voice for the other CS' voice (he's the only other male in CS). Then I had to correct her everytime :P

But hey, every time I picked her call, it was always really cool. We managed to identify each other, then chatted longer and more on the phone, more than just having a query.

Sadly, though, she called once, both to make a query, and to say that she wouldn't be working with effect from today (time of my post). It was a little sad to say goodbye to her since we chatted so often, but we have to let things go, sometimes...

And I say farewell to her, while I wait for one day before I say farewell, too.
--------------------------------
Just like workload, I couldn't tolerate getting tons of calls when busy doing my work. Yet, when there's little to no work left, I keep staring at the phone, hoping for someone to reach my hotline!

In the end, I even asked my sister to call me :P Just to chat on the phone... But I'd have to hang up still, since it's not nice to hog the line and prevent customers from calling in >.< but it was still a long chat!
--------------------------------
Just a few hours to go....

It's going to be a memorable experience, I'm sure of it. Saying my goodbyes to them... hm. But first, a nice lunch with all of them x)!

Hello...? Hello? Hello? Part II

Of course, work is diversified. Like for me, I had to help out between different countries and their respective work, which was quite a challenge since handling two countries is a strain on a person's mental and physical health ._.

Enough of that part though, next is the more interesting ones: Picking up phone calls.

Whenever you are designated to a hotline, it's like the most interesting experience you could ever get.

My first experience started off really cool, with my colleague right beside me when I was taking the call (we're normally a few meters from each others desk). Just after I logged on the phone, within a matter of minutes, the first call came.

Boy, imagine my anxiety when picking up the call! Fortunately it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be, but for a first timer, my voice was just a wee bit shaky, heh.

Who knew that as time progressed, I got used to picking up calls, readily answering their queries. But still, being a greenhorn at all these meant I had to consult my colleagues at times, while holding the person on the phone.

Which is where all the strange experiences of a Customer Service staff enters!

I have come across so many different customers, but some experiences are just too memorable to forget.

1) Getting hung up just after I picked up the phone
2) Getting hung up after holding the phone, and asking the person to wait for a while
3) Receiving strange requests and questions that seemed to be the most obvious, but yet still asked (Am I allowed I buy this? I've never bought this before..... Note: all stores ALWAYS start off without anything isn't it? =/)

The more fun experiences then came...

First up, was this guy who called a few times in a row within a few hours. Strangely enough, I'd pick up his call every single time, and every time, it's always the same thing: (insert name here) please!

And I have to transfer the phone over... Strangely enough, every time he called, it would hardly reach the target person he was looking for. My hotline and his call has a great affinity! :P
--------------------------------
Second up, was definitely a really strange, but freaky experience.

How should one react to an angry consumer?

There was just this once, where I was speaking to my colleague as she just returned from her leave, and she saw me picking up the hotline. The conversation then followed:

"Oh? Taking hotline already?"
"Yeah! Still quite new with it, but I'm doing okay... no bad experiences yet!"
"Haha, those are very few one lah..."
"True, true. Hope I don't get one!"

And a call comes (Dejavu, much?). This person who is looking really urgently for someone else could never reach him no matter how much he tried.

And twice, I picked up his phone (unfortunately).

The second time, he started blurting out all sorts of profanities, ending off with "Can you f*** him or not, ah? Can?"

My god x_x! What reaction should I have at this point? He's freaking pissed, he's a consumer, but I cannot just hang up on him.

So in the end I just gave off a small smirk.

"Tell him (target person), that I am searching high and low for him! Ask him GET BACK TO ME ASAP!"
"Oh okay. I'll pass that message to him."

Just after hanging up, I spoke to my colleague.

"Omg? So heng (lucky) to get that call?"

And we both laughed.

Just then, another call came.

"Ah, hello? I spoke to you just now right?!"
"Uh... yeah. Anything I can help you with?" (The EXACT same person, 3rd time! I was so worried he was going to spew more profanities and stuff ._.)
"Oh. He finally picked up my call already! No need to find him. Thanks ah!"
"Oh okay. Thanks! Bye~"

PHEW >_> Lucky, lucky, lucky me that things didn't spiral out of control.

That was the only once I'd ever receive an angry customer... but it's a memorable experience. Can't forget that ._.
--------------------------------
With that, ends Part II, and continues Part III! So many things to say, but I don't wanna clutter everything up~

Hello...? Hello? Hello?

The life of a Customer Service personnel is always filled with fun and excitement. While I've never once mentioned what I was working as, I have now ;)

It's a job which always demands you to be in your utmost spirits, because you never know when a pile of work will come crashing down on you.

At the same time, it demands your attention to details, challenging your hearing to people whose voices are too soft (or that their phones are just not good ._.) and your quick ability to access information desired.

Just 5 weeks, and it has already passed by so quickly. In less than 24 hours, my first job ends, and I say farewell to my first group of colleagues.

Bitter sweet memories, I must say! Everyday brought new surprises which I would never expect.

Even more interestingly, I have to hound people everyday to tell me how I should complete a certain task :P Fortunately for me, they are patient enough! I definitely appreciate their efforts.

Work load was always an interesting matter that one can never understand how it, well, works.

Starting off with some work lets people feel that it's not too difficult, still going smoothly.

When one day, you receive a pile of things to do, it always instantly becomes a living nightmare, trying to finish off as many things in the 8 hours as possible.

Hey, 8 hours is definitely not enough for some of my colleagues! It's a killer seeing the things they're doing non-stop...

But after that, the instant you pass that phase of living through hell, you seem to desire for more workload.

Then, when any of the days gives you tiny workloads, you begin to rot in an area, hoping for work to fall on you to do. Then you finish any that comes your way within minutes. And wait... again.

How interesting it is, that we desire more work, when we have less to do, yet go crazy and depressed over a massive load of things to do. How do people find an equilibrium, then?

That's just part of my experience at work. It's always so fun to speak about what happens! New things popping up...

And this continues, into part II!

And the Countdown Begins...

Been ages since I've posted. Not surprising, though! It's been so busy at work, and I still have my personal life to attend to!

For the past few months, time just ticked slowly... slowly... down to the next biggest event which will occur in exactly 1 weeks time -- enlistment.

Both looking forward and being apprehensive about it has kept me stuck in the middle, not sure whether to feel happy, or to actually feel worried, or sad. Who knows? Things like these are always hard to tell...

Well, the only thing I can really do now, is to wait. Wait for that one moment to come, hoping that it passes in a flash, which obviously won't, since it'll eat 2 years of my life.

How much can 2 years affect a person's life? I'll await to see... when I enter.

I don't want to leave things behind undone, but I can see that I am doing, and will be doing loads of that before this week flies by.

Who will I meet? What will happen? It all boils down to this.

1 week. Just 1 week, to go...

And the Outburst happens... In a Burst!

Very short burst.

Just to shut the door that they were arguing at, in front of their faces, and asking them to shut up, get some peace time, then talk.

I don't find it necessary that this argument draws on. Both side emotionally aggravated, both sides still going on... and on... and on...

So stop.

And it does. Thanks :). Time to go back to what I wanted -- Peace.

Bad Starts to Mornings?

Seriously, why must people get bad starts to mornings? While it's horrible to be the one caught in the midst of bad starts, I wasn't the one involved this time, just a bystander.

But still, it's not necessary to wake up and less than 1 minute of walking out, nagging at someone else occurs. Nag, nag, nag, nag, nag, nag, nag..................................................

STOP! <_< I appreciate you spoiling my day, thanks.

I understand a mother's worry on a child's education and all, but I don't need nags to occur twice a day, whether it's morning or night, whether it's outside or at home.

Yeah, it's a mother's privilege to nag, I admit. But everyone, and I mean HUMANS need to understand people's hearts and thoughts. And I must say, this certain female, is just a very, very, very bad processor of thoughts. VERY.

No, she's not my mum, but hey, living under the same roof, you have to tolerate. Good way to vent my anger isn't it? x)

Okay, first we start from nagging, then it goes to caning... not necessary. Not when the person being whacked is like, 13? I don't see the point.

A person needs to know how a person's growing up process is like, and they need to watch their words.

I'm shocked at how this mother actually USES her words, which in my opinion are abusive, and unnecessary. Worse, should the child be actually threatening to leave home, that is a sign that everything should stop.

....... and the nagging continues. >.>

Well, both needs to seek psychological treatment, really :) I'd rather they just leave this house and not bother me~

I'd always want to say this: Want to argue, want to beat people, get out of my f***ing house, and do it. Once done, once all's over, THEN return to this serenity that I desire. I don't need people to cause chaos to my peace within me.

Well, it hasn't occurred yet. But if it does, it's an outburst, and it can be VERY, VERY, nasty. It won't be as good as just saying mere words, there will be LOADS of shouting, screaming, and well...

People involved MAY get involved in a very, very bad abuse. And I mean it. I'm not a person who's always nice.

FoD - Writer's Notes II

The third chapter came out just a day or so back, and I'm back with my notes cause I found it pretty relevant.

While the storyline in my plot goes at its very own, slow pace, so did today's work.

Strangely enough I expected it to be a relatively busy one but that didn't happen, instead I got myself into a load of slack time that I didn't know what to do but, well, just slack o-o. Worse is I don't want to show that I'm slacking, not when it's supposed to be work time!

So what happened after that was fiddling with the computer, shifting things around, doing loads of useless things, walking around, blankly staring at areas...

Fortunately there was enough work to relief boredom from all the waiting-- waiting for work!

Or maybe it's just cause I didn't go look for some cause I knew what was going to happen if I did.......... :P

So, how slow does time flow? It really depends on mood, I'd suppose.

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - III

He slowly opened his eyes, recovering from the attack which seemed to last an eternity as he drowned. His surrounding seemed like he returned to where he was previously at, the Dark Forest, but he could tell something was not right.

As he stood up, he stumbled and realized his strength was not at his usual level. Worse, it seemed as if a large chunk of strength was removed from him, so much that he could only barely stand and walk.

He knew that surviving the drowning itself was already strange, but now he needed to get some answers to what was occurring to him.

His drained strength made him completely weakened, easily stumbling. His eyesight was just blurry, to the point that it felt he could collapse anytime, again.

With the crimson moonlight shining down on him, he heard footsteps, but it was not around him, but above him.

He raised his head and saw something that could not have been possible.

Without making out what they were, he could sense that five figures were standing around. He could not raise his voice to call them, for his strength was just too low. He noticed that they were standing... on water. Strangely enough, it looked really familiar, but he just couldn't think at that point of time.

Along with that, around him were four other figures, but they were a distance away that he could not reach any of them.

One turned around to look at him, and what he saw stunned him. Looking like a copy of him, the blurry figure stood there, staring at him, not uttering a single word. He tried to focus his vision, and confirmed that it was exactly like him, but something just didn't feel right about any of the figures.

His vision started to blur again, he realized he needed to recuperate more. As he collapsed once more to the ground, he saw that the nine figures walked away, all towards different directions, regardless of where they were. He raised his hand, hoping for something to occur, but he knew that there was not a chance. Salvation... was not possible. Not yet.

The figure walked past him, as if he was never present. He couldn't muster any strength to stop that figure, but he knew that many answers would lie within the figures.

As his eyes slowly shut from exhaustion, he muttered a few words, before collapsing again.

"Rest...."

"Answers...."

It was all just the beginning...

Wyrking, Wyrking

So, the greenhorn's out to work!

Second day on the job and it's definitely getting more difficult~ But hey, that's what work is all about isn't it! ;D

But hey, things are going to be like a rollercoaster ride! But o_O what will happen in the days to come?!

One thing's for sure, it's definitely a tiring job! Drifting off to bed is so easy now.

How interesting that 1/3 of our lives are spent working, or more. So we actually spend most of our lives.... SLEEPING! HA! :)

Think it over, it's time for me to take a break from all the buzz at work!

FoD - Writer's Notes I

Celebrating my 100th post came a double "issue" of FoD, which is just below.

While it seems like FoD is just like an ordinary story, it is by no means one. Whatever events happen inside is always linked to something else...

I think I mentioned this before, but FoD was my means of conveying a message, an experience to other readers out there.

In a different way, I am sharing what went through in my life using a story. Of course since it's a story, everything needs to be more... refined.

Well, maybe no one has noticed it yet, but I've never given a name, a look, a build to "he". It's probably intentional, although I already have a name and how he should look on my mind. Just that I want to hold back all these information until I find the right time to release it.

Fortunately [or unfortunately!], FoD's going to be ongoing for some time, like a train on rails with no end to where it's moving. It just all coincides with how a person's life comes with ups and downs, new experiences and what not!

Fret not, an ending always comes to any story, and mine will have one to. It just depends on when I'm going to place it only, that's all.

Guess that ends my writer's notes for this time. FoD would continue... when it does! Heh!

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - II

With the final step, onto the center of the lake, the glow stopped completely.

"Tch." was the only word he said.

Yet, without a warning, the lake surface began to glow just like how it was with his steps, and it began to envelop the whole lake to as far as he could see.

He knew this was not a good sign, although no one had ever spoken about this lake within the Forest, but he stood his ground.

A sudden pull on his leg surprised him, and he attempted to break free of that pull. No matter how much force he used, it seemed as though the pull would be way stronger than his.

In a split second, he was pulled into the lake at alarming speed, and it didn't stop there. It just continued pulling him deeper... deeper...

He began to run out of breath. Gasping for air within the water would be the worst choice he would have done, since that would just cause him to drown. He held on until the very last second, staring up towards the surface which became quiet once more, as if nothing had ever happened...

He looked down, and saw pitch black. He knew that no one would have known any of this to happen, but he didn't want to disappear just like that.

Just then, a strong force went through his body. One that he never felt before. One that was so immense, it knocked him totally unconscious. As he got pulled deeper, on the surface, a mist was slowly forming, and his figure became less visible... less visible... until no figure could be seen anymore.

On the surface, the Lake just stayed quiet as ever, like no disturbance ever happened...

Flames of Darkness - Chapter I - I

Just as he thought and heard of, the Dark Forest lived up to its name. Hardly any moonlight shone into the forest, and he was unable to see anything just a few steps ahead.

Strangely though, the Dark Forest was made up of all dead and withered trees, and there were no leaves there to block the moonlight from entering, yet it seemed that just a few branches from the trees over him were able to block all the crimson moonlight that attempted to seep through.

As he continued proceeding forth, he noticed that the road split into two. He looked up and saw a strange signpost.

Onwards - Left
Death - Right

While it did seem like an obvious choice on what he should have chosen, he remained silent, and moved towards the path on the right...

The path looked totally ordinary, nothing out of place. The dead leaves strewn all over the ground and dry soil just showed how bad the condition was within the Forest, and he knew that he needed to get out of the area as soon as possible, unless he wanted to be part of the Forest-- as a corpse.

A large lake loomed across the path he was walking, as if appearing from nowhere. He couldn't be bothered with it and proceeded across the lake. Strangely enough, it seemed as though the surface of the lake was rock solid and he could move on the surface as if walking on ground.

With each step he took, he felt something wasn't right but continued moving.

Just then, beneath his feet, he saw a small glow that spread out like a ripple, before disappearing. While his instincts told him to head back, he went against himself and moved forward.

Yet, with every step, the glow continued to appear, seemingly brighter with every step, extending larger into the lake.

What he never expected was what happened when he took the last step towards the center of the lake...

Late Night Posting... Again

Strange. Seems like there's a trend I prefer to blog only in the deep dark depths of the night compared to daytime.

Guess I just prefer privacy and secrecy, not that my blog's a secret! Heh!

One post coming up tomorrow I believe? FMA's 4th OP and ED are already out! Videos all coming /soon/. :)

Dimensions of Time - Chrono Cross

As promised, here comes the one game that I watched [not played] which got me really interested.

Time has been something that has crept up to me slowly as itself passes by, but it's hard to express that feeling of curiosity about it.

I would like to give full credit to ArtificialRaven for his video, you can check more out at his channel for Chrono Cross. A direct link would be this: Click me!

This brings you to the very first video that you'll be seeing here. I'll also type some parts of whatever was mentioned inside the video, because that's what I found was memorable.

There are actually two videos, one for the start and the end. The narration is also in that format, split by the lines.

The videos are all the way at the bottom, to not disrupt your watching pleasure x).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What was the start of all this?
When did the cogs of fate begin to turn?

Perhaps it is impossible to grasp that answer now,
From deep within the flow of time...

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meaninglessly hurting one another...
The disappearing life-forms...

Love to hate...
Hate to love...
Why are we born?
Why do we die?

Evolution?
The "survival of the fittest?"
What is there to be achieved from
harming one another...
Killing one another...

Does that make us all just pawns?
Are each of our short lives
nothing but a cheap sacrifice
just so the one chosen life-form
can be born?

Each life-form that attempts to
eke out a decent life for itself
forms a link in the golden chain
that leads to the creation of
a new universe.

If one link is missing,
there will be no future.

There is no such thing as
a useless life-form...
No such thing as
a pawn!

So now, there was also a song that's included in this whole game, I'm not going to show it here. A really soothing song I must say, but this isn't where I'll place it. Not yet, at least. Not until... time will tell. ;)

Anyway, this was one really interesting storyline to read, but it's also one that's very confusing. For those who's interested in watching the playthrough, be forewarned that you'll very likely get lost in the plot halfway through!

Everflowing, Everlasting

Here goes the next section of more talk.

If people couldn't speak their mind, of course they would go to other extents to express themselves. Some by music, some... like me, typing. Don't start saying that it's boring to see words. I'm expressing myself.

I've come to realize that regardless of what we do, regardless of what happens, regardless of the incidents that have come and gone, there's always something that goes ever so slowly, but stays forever, even until we're gone.

Time.

And I do realize that I love to speak of it, I wonder why? Time seems to be something that comes to attract me really well, and I just get really interested when there's any related topic to this.

Alternate dimensions, a split timeline, anything that gets related to time, I'll like it, I believe.

Just like now, where the time's 4:16AM, it's really intriguing how I managed to stay up so late for the past few weeks all the way till this sort of time, yet continue everyday as though it's normal.

Time is something really mysterious actually. In what way is it mysterious? Just how it works, how it's... 4:18AM currently, and not 4:18PM, or 12:00PM or what not. But hey, that's just some really random stuff there isn't it?

I came across a saying which went "the moment you're born, you are living to your death." That really makes sense actually. We are born to die, but we still live on as usual, ticking all the way to that very last second.

Along with so much chat about time, an upcoming post will show just one way time has been manipulated, or I should say, split.

Ah, sleepy eyes, but I don't think I should stop yet.

I figured, "I should create one chapter of my story everytime I make a blog post," but... nah, that's like an obligation. I don't like to be bounded by it.

However, what I do know is, it seems like the next part of the story should be coming really soon, maybe in a few days time? Depending on when I have the mood to start randomly typing a plot as I go along.

Did I also mention that Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is getting a new OP and ED in it's next episode? ;)

Till then,
-gone-

The Late Night Silence

Both a creepy, yet serene kind of feel is within the atmosphere currently. I really shouldn't say much, but hey, what's there to do when your bio clock has shifted so radically you don't know what's going to come next?

This silence is really something that I want. That I need. That I love to embrace. Getting away from the buzz and shouts of city life really helps me to keep my mind on a balance, which is why I like to get in touch with nature, or I should say, I like to get in touch with it when I get to ;).

Yet, there are just some times when situations arise which disturb this balance in me, which disrupts the continual flow. This is when things can really go out of hand, and I will not be 'me' in just a few minutes.

I cannot tolerate people shouting at home, because I feel that home is what it's supposed to be, a shelter for people to make use of when they need to get away from matters. Yet, time arises when it is just purely inevitable, when discipline needs to be handed down to those who aren't too obedient.

Sorry mate, I don't give a f***ing care on that. Wanna create noise, get lost from the house and return after it's done. But hey, what can you do? It's an adult whacking a child for 'discipline.' Ha, like I believe in that shit.

So back to topic, if any of such incidents occur, it just disrupts my own calm mentality, which... really gets me into a nice agitated feel in less than 5 minutes. Provoke me further and I can turn really... really, I should say, dangerous.

Which is why people say "the most subtle person is actually the most dangerous." That's true, you'd better believe it.

But hey, fortunately I'm getting better at controlling these outrages now that no damage is really done at all, or maybe just damage done to my mind from all that control.

Yet the irony comes that I do lose my temper and become the one creating noise at time. Heh, can't be helped, eh? Fortunately these incidents are totally few and far between.

When I start typing, it really seems like I can't stop. And I actually won't. One more post for the day coming right up in a few minutes.

There's a First for Everything

A new year, a new start. What's your New Year's Revolution?

With the new year, there's a first for anything. The first time you have a meal [which I just did], the first time you took a shower, the first time you switch on, sit in front of, and play games on the computer.

The first time of visiting friends, playing sports with them, going shopping... you get my drift.

So, of course, not forgetting this 'special occasion' [which actually occurs once every year], I figured I'd start off with my first, and second blog posts if you include this one for the new year ;).

Maybe some have noticed, but it starts off... strange. Well, meant to be that way, I'll try to tie up loose ends eventually x).

The plot will continue expand as and when I like it [I don't have a fixed idea!] so that won't be any regular updates, unless I feel like it, or if it's a very special event for me to record down.

Within the plot, it'll be a mix of fiction, and a bite of reality, in which many of my feelings and thoughts will be typed down as a story. Easier for me to explain, easier to be understood too!

I wish everyone the most successful year ahead!

Flames of Darkness - Prologue

He stared into the night sky as always. There were hardly any stars, but that wasn't his concern.

He continued staring into the darkness above, as if waiting for something to happen. Never once had he missed on sitting at the peak of Drake Mt. ever since he was told to.

It was cold as ever, but regardless of how cold he was, however much he was shivering, he just sat there, staring blankly...

The moon was crimson red. A chilly wind picked up, and he stopped staring at the skies. The wind suddenly died down in an instant. Peering into the distance from where he was, he stood up, uttering the few words in his mouth.

"It's time."

He ran down the Mt. and went into the Dark Forest, just a distance from the Mt. He took his first step in, and continued into the depths of darkness in the forest.

He never looked back...
